Why it needs doing
Two things happen under a hair system. Your own hair keeps growing, and the adhesive slowly loosens. A maintenance visit sorts out both before either one shows.
It’s the one part of this that doesn’t go away. Plan on a visit every 3 to 5 weeks for as long as you wear a system. Most of Stacey’s clients come in around every three weeks, depending on how fast their hair grows and which base they wear.
What happens at a visit
About an hour and a half, start to finish, with the same person who fitted it.
The system comes off and the old adhesive is cleared.
The system is cleaned and your scalp prepared for a fresh bond.
Your own hair underneath is cut back.
It is refitted, and you walk out looking as you did on day one.
When it's time for a new one
A system lasts three to six months, and most of Stacey’s clients get around six. When it’s due, a new one is £695, fitted, cut and styled, the same as your first.
Fitted somewhere else?
That’s fine. Stacey maintains systems fitted elsewhere at the same prices, as long as the system is good quality and has been fitted properly.

Maintenance prices
Colour, a perm of the system or a beard trim can be added to any visit for £25 each.

What if it lifts between visits?
Book an emergency repair or rebond. It’s from £40 and takes about 30 minutes.
Can I push a visit back?
You can, but the longer you leave it, the more your own hair grows underneath and the more the adhesive loosens. Sticking to your interval keeps it looking right.
Do you maintain systems fitted by someone else?
Yes, at the same prices, as long as the system is good quality and has been fitted properly.
How often will I need to come in?
Every 3 to 5 weeks. Most clients come in around every three weeks.
